"So we won, and I missed it?" Banner asked
"Indeed, Banner," Thor replied, "It was a glorious sight."
Thor got out of bed, and walked toward the deck, where the AU was being contained. Agents fed it sweets and pizza. Thor considered Pizza, the strangest food in the world. Suddenly, the ship rocked and sparked.
By thunder, Thor thought, Who could that have been?
He ran towards the source of all the commotion. A pipe had been blown. Thor was shocked. The pipes didn't just break. He himself couldn't break it. It would've had to have been someone as strong as the Hulk. To his great surprise, a hulking figure smashed through the top of the Quinjet.
Thor's first thought was Hulk. But when the giant green figure turned around. Thor saw a different face. This creature had tattoos on it's arms as well as lightning crackling between it's fingers. Thor also noticed a sword hanging on it's back. The lightning grew until it hit Thor. The creature seemed surprised that Thor was still alive. Thor spit out a piece of steel as he got up. Agent Coulson dashed into the room.
"Skaar!" the Agent exclaimed
The gamma monster grinned at him.Thor took his chance and ran at Skaar, yelling: "For Odin!"
He raised his hammer and slammed it down on the monster, who tried taking it off only to fail. Thor raised the hammer again, only to be punched into the pipes.
By Thunder, Thor thought, This creature is stronger than Banner himself.
As if he had been called called by Thor, Hulk smashed through the wall in between him and Skaar.
"Hulk told you to use old magic wisely, Skaar!" The giant Gamma monster said
Skaar laughed, and used the lightning on Hulk. Hulk didn't flinch.
"Hulk take old magic away from Skaar!"
Skaar looked scared for a moment, but put his angry face back on.
"You can't take the old magic away from me, dad. Only mother can do that, and she's dead." Skaar said
Thor was surprised the monster could talk with a human like voice like that, along with speaking with intelligent sentences.
Thor pressed a button on his wristband. The AU came crashing in with red eyes. It's chest plate was red as well. It looked directly at Skaar, and bowed.
What is it doing? Thor thought
It turned toward Hulk and punched him out of the Quinjet. Skaar gestured for the AU to follow him, and jumped out of the Quinjet, followed by the AU. Everyone knew it. The AU was no longer theirs.

Stark had recently created "Digger" armor, and Adamantium man armor. He was thinking of new Argonauts as well. For now, those were all he needed to defeat the Iron Man part of the AU. He had given the Thorbuster armor to Thor. And he had given the Hulkbuster armor to the Captain. Banner had hopped back into the ship unfazed. It had taken the shield agents hours to calm him down, stabbing an Adamantium needle into his arm. Banner dashed into the room with a smile on his face.
"I've found the antidote." he said
Stark panicked.
"Don't drink it now! We need you to fight Skaar, and the AU!"
Too late. Banner gulped down the gray liquid with a swift motion.
Suddenly, he started growing, and his skin turned grey. He started looking like the Hulk, but he had grey skin. Finally, the transformation was complete. A Grey Hulk looked back at him.
"I don't feel normal," he said
"You kind of aren't," Stark answered, "I believe we still have a Hulk. A Grey Hulk."
"It didn't cure me did it?" Banner asked
"No, but you're speaking intelligently. And your skin looks closer to human."
"I remember everything as well."
"Hmph, Swell. I don't think there's much difference. Do you think you can still take on the AU?"
"What's the AU?"
"Look's like you don't remember everything. The AU was like our ultimate avenger that listened to whatever we said. But Skaar decided to take him from us, and turn him against us. He punched you out of the Quinjet. How do you forget that?"
"Who's Skaar?" the Grey Hulk replied
"He's your son, who was apparently able to harness the AU's soul with the 'Old Magic' as you call it. The guy's able to shoot lightning of some type. Wait. How come you had to come to my room at 11:00 at night?"
The Grey Hulk shrugged. Stark laughed.
"I like this new version of you, Banner. I like it."
They made it halfway, to the AU, but had to stop and campout for the night. Banner tried falling asleep, but he kept having nightmares. At 10:58 PM, he finally gave up. He gazed toward the stars, remembering the night he had fallen in love with Caiera the Oldstrong. Then he felt a little angry. Skaar, his own son, had killed his mother simply because he was bloodthirsty. He looked at his watch. It wasn't there. His skin was grey, and he had rippling muscles. He didn't feel like sleeping, so he tried to find something to keep his mind occupied. He pulled up a tree, and a giant dirt clod. He used the tree as a bat, and the dirt clod as a baseball. The dirt clod didn't work very well, so he picked up a boulder, and batted it to a completely different part of the world.
The Grey Hulk couldn't find another boulder, so he set down the tree, and looked for something else to do. a glint of iron caught his eye. He found the source of the glint, and tried picking it up. The thing looked like a gigantic iron man. He couldn't figure out what it was. The Hulk might have been able to, but he certainly couldn't. Then he had a memory flash. The suit was the Hulkbuster. Built to oppose him. He found that he couldn't pick the thing up, which surprised him, because he could usually pick anything up. He estimated that it was about 100 tons, which was totally in his strength limit. The tree was probably 1 ton, and it was easy to pick up. He tried picking the Quinjet up, which was 95 tons almost exactly. But he still couldn't pick it up.
After that, Hulk tried picking up 90 trees, but couldn't. He couldn't pick up 80 or 75 trees either. He could only pick up about 70. He was astonished and scared at the same time. Compared to the old Hulk, who's strength was nearly limitless, he was a weakling. He even tried getting angrier, but it only granted him 1 more ton. He saw the sun, and suddenly felt a huge wave of nausea and fell unconscious.
Bruce woke up hours after everyone else. The AU hadn't progressed much since then, so Bruce hadn't held them back much either. He had no idea how he had ended up outside, but he had a slight memory of picking up 70 trees but no more. 70 trees meant 70 tons. He also understood, that he was the new hulk then, so of course he was able to pick up that much. But the problem was that it was a struggle. This made Bruce scared. He was a weakling compared to the Hulk. Even this Grey Hulk, who could lift way more than most, was a weakling. What if the Abomination escaped? The Grey Hulk would not be able to defeat him.

The next day, they set off to find the AU, whom Agent Coulson had cleverly put a tracking device on. Bruce was back to normal. It had felt a little different than turning into the Hulk. Stark had sadly announced that he was still the Hulk, and the only difference that it had was that he had most of his memories as this Hulk, and he turned grey. Another sad thing, was that Bruce didn't even have to get that angry to turn into the Grey Hulk, as Stark called him. At least he was almost himself in that form. Almost himself as in bigger muscles, less intelligent, and grayer skin himself. He absolutely hated the Hulk. But he liked the Grey Hulk a little bit better, because he was a little more in control, although he didn't remember much of the conversation the night before. They made it halfway, to the AU, but had to stop and campout for the night. Thor longed to be back in Asgard, back in his own room, back fighting other planets. While he was thinking, Nick Fury announced that they had caught up to the AU, and were about to descend.
By my hammer, I was about to kill that man if we weren't going to land soon, Thor thought
Thor immediately opened up the emergency exit, and jumped out. He swung his hammer and dove toward the monster his father had created. His hammer smashed into the creature like he had swung his hammer into the Captain's shield. It turned out, he did. They tried for hours, to defeat this creature, but it was as if it had the sense of Carnage. Once Spiderman joined them, they understood it. This creature had Spider sense. It would take more than the Avengers to defeat the AU. It had the strength of all the Avengers combined, meaning, one of them at a time could defeat him anymore. Not even Hulk could do it. They were hopeless.
